Female leader, mother, entrepreneur
A lifelong Tri-Cities resident, Paige moved to Port Coquitlam in 2016 with her husband, Adrian, and the two immediately fell in love with everything Poco has to offer. Now they’re proud to be raising their two young boys here, River (age 4) and Sterling (age 1), and running their businesses in Poco as well.
Paige started her business ten years ago specializing in event planning and management services. Today, she’s built it into an award-winning company recognized among the top event firms in BC, with an office located right here in Port Coquitlam. Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, Paige knows first hand the hard work and dedication it takes to run a business. She values the significance of the investment that Poco small businesses make everyday in our city.
Her work as an event director has given her the opportunity to work collaboratively with so many of our great local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The relationships and connections she’s forged in this community are a huge reason why she loves it so much. Over the years, she’s served on a variety of committees, including the Young Professionals Steering Committee at the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce; as well as countless event committees with different organizations such as the Chamber, Share Family & Community Services, Port Coquitlam Firefighters Charitable Society, and more.
Most recently, Paige has spent the past four years serving on the Port Coquitlam Mayor’s Citizen Advisory Roundtable, where she provides input and feedback on many of the city’s initiatives. Through this role, she’s developed a passion for contributing to the future of this city, and has received ongoing encouragement from Mayor Brad West to run for council.
As both a community leader and event planner, Paige has led hundreds of big projects and initiatives to success. She’s highly skilled at identifying goals and priorities; managing large teams of professionals; and working with budgets and complex logistics. Her ability to anticipate issues, find creative solutions, and adapt when hit with the unexpected are a fundamental quality of her leadership.
Paige is committed to leading with integrity and respect. Her approach to decision-making has always been educating herself as much as possible, asking questions, engaging in discussion, and considering all viewpoints. She believes in the importance of critical thinking and challenging biases in order to make balanced, well-informed decisions.
In her leisure time, you’ll find Paige walking along the Traboulay Trail with her husband, 2 boys and golden retriever, Marty. Coffee is her secret to doing it all, and she’s forever grateful for her incredibly supportive family.
